These new routes include Peru's only direct connection to Lima, Austria's third-largest ski resort, and competition on popular destinations like Dubai and the Maldives.
LATAM Airlines will offer Lima as the first direct connection from the UK, providing opportunities for passengers and businesses to trade directly. Salzburg will join Vienna and Innsbruck as the third Austrian destination, with 66 ski resorts in the state. Friedrichshafen will be served by Lufthansa, with Lake Constance being a must-see for those planning a visit.
Dubai will be served by Virgin Atlantic, offering the ideal combination of fewer crowds and pleasant weather. The Maldives will be served by Virgin Atlantic, offering crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches. Turks and Caicos will be served by Virgin Atlantic, the 11th Caribbean Island directly connected to Heathrow, home to the third-largest barrier reef system in the world.
Riga will be served by British Airways, the first time Heathrow has flown directly to Latvia since 2006. Belgrade will be served by British Airways, with flights departing on October 31. Cologne will be served by British Airways, with its Cathedral being the city's most famous landmark and one of the most visited sites in Germany. Turin will be served by British Airways, with flights starting on December 10 and starting on November 4. Ashgabat will be served by Turkmenistan Airlines, marking Heathrow's first connection to the capital since 2019.
