Lufthansa Cargo Introduces td.Zoom for Rapid Cargo Shipments

Lufthansa Cargo has unveiled a new expedited service, td.Zoom, for cargo shipments, promises the fastest transport times in the carrier's portfolio. The service includes ramp supervision during loading and unloading of aircraft, dedicated ramp transfer from the warehouse to the aircraft and back, and on-demand tail-to-tail transfer at its hubs in Frankfurt, Zurich, and Munich.


The carrier also offers round-the-clock personal td.Zoom Customer Service, which proactively monitors each shipment and takes immediate action to prevent any irregularities. This new service complements Lufthansa Cargo's existing priority services, td.Pro and td.Flash. According to Chief Executive Ashwin Bhat, a shipment from Shanghai via Frankfurt to Zurich, which usually takes 45 hours with td.Pro and 35 hours with td.Flash will now be reduced to just 23 hours with td.Zoom.


Bhat emphasized that td.Zoom is the fastest choice with top priorities, the shortest transit times, and personal td.Zoom Customer Service. He added, "Optimal customer service means creating the right offering for every need. With td.Pro, td.Flash, and td.Zoom, we now have a comprehensive choice in terms of speed of transport, allowing our customers to choose a price-performance ratio that meets their individual needs."


The new service can also be combined with the carrier's existing services, such as General Cargo, Dangerous Goods, and Emergency. Additionally, customers can book add-on Services like Sustainable Choice to reduce CO2 emissions.
