A passenger died on a Dubai-Dhaka flight, the airline has confirmed. According to the flydubai, the flight made an emergency landing at Karachi but the passenger died in midair.
flydubai confirm that its flight #FZ523 from DXB to Dhaka Airport (DAC) on Feb.18 was diverted to Karachi Airport (KHI) on medical emergency. The airline has extended its condolences to the family of a passenger.
The authorities have not revealed the cause of the death. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
The flight took off on time, but was scheduled to land in Dhaka at 8.30pm.
The authorities said after the incident, the aircraft left for Dhaka at 8:17pm Karachi time.
