
An Xfly- Scandinavian AL – SAS ATR-72 experienced nose gear damage when it rotated 90 degrees while landing at Hamburg Airport, Germany.
The ATR-72-212, with registration ES-ATE was operating flight SK-649 from Copenhagen to Hamburg when the nose gear of the aircraft rotated by 90 degrees causing the nose tires to burst.
The aircraft came to stop on the runway and all those on board disembarked onto the runway and were bussed to the terminal. The aircraft was left disabled on the runway.
