Wizz Air placed a firm order for 75 A321neos

On Wednesday, Airbus announced that it had secured an order from Wizz Air for 75 more A321neo planes. This latest "firm contract" brings Wizz Air's total orders for the A321neo to 434 planes, according to Airbus. As demand for air travel continues to rise post-COVID, airline companies are expanding their fleets and manufacturers are working to increase production to keep up.

The A321neo, which is the largest single-aisle aircraft, is leading in competition with Boeing's 737 MAX model to meet the growing need for greater capacity and range.
