On 6th March, two United Airlines Boeing 737s collided on the ground at Boston Logan International Airport. A United Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 8 scheduled to operate flight #UA515 was being pushed back from its gate by a tow tug when its right winglet hit the left stabilizer of a parked Boeing 737-9 (registration N36444) which was scheduled to operate Flight UA267. Flight #UA515 was bound for Newark whereas flight UA267 was scheduled to depart for Denver.

According to an airline spokesperson, no one was injured in the collision. Massport, the airport’s owner, said that United Airlines personnel had to use a tow tug to move one of the planes following the incident.
“As a tow tug was pushing it back from the gate at Boston Logan International Airport, the right wing of United Airlines Flight 515 struck the tail of United Airlines Flight 267 around 8:30 a.m. local time this morning,” the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said regarding Monday’s incident. The FAA has already launched an investigation into the incident.
