A source in the General Administration of Aden International Airport (ADE) explained the reasons for the delay in arriving tonight's flights to the airport, coming from Bombay, Amman and Cairo.
And “Sputnik” news agency quoted the source as saying that the airport runway lighting system was subjected to a technical defect that took it out of service, which caused the lack of night vision ahead of the planes.
The source confirmed that the engineering and technical teams are working hard to fix the defect and return things to their previous status to be able to operate night flights to and from the airport.
The source expressed his deep apology to the passengers, wishing them to understand the situation beyond the control of the airport officials.
