Turkish Airlines inaugurates Its 14th Destination In The US, marking the longest flight to Denver

Turkish Airlines made history in June11th, by launching its inaugural flight TK201 from Istanbul to Denver, marking the longest flight ever operated to Denver International Airport (DEN). The new service, operated by a Boeing 777-300ER (Reg. TC-LJE), covers a distance of approximately 6,130 miles and takes about 13 hours. This milestone flight not only sets a new record for the longest flight from Denver but also makes Denver the 14th U.S. destination served by Turkish Airlines. The first flight departed Istanbul at 10:30 a.m. local time and arrived in Denver at 1:30 p.m. local time, receiving a warm welcome from airport officials and local dignitaries. The new service will operate three times a week, with flights departing from Istanbul on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and returning from Denver on the same days. Starting July 9, a fourth weekly flight will be added on Sundays.
