In response to the situation, a replacement Boeing 737 MAX 8, registered as LV-KKE, was dispatched to Neuquen. This aircraft resumed the flight, delivering the passengers to Buenos Aires. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the flight was delayed by about 7.5 hours.

As of 20 hours after the emergency landing, the original aircraft, LV-FRQ, remains grounded in Neuquen. The reasons for the emergency descent and diversion are not specified, and it is unclear when the aircraft will be cleared for future flights. This incident underscores the unpredictable nature of air travel and the importance of safety protocols and procedures in ensuring passenger safety.
