An Aerolineas Argentina Boeing 737-800, registered as LV-FRQ, was performing flight AR-1639 from Bariloche, RN to Buenos Aires Ezeiza, BA. As the aircraft was ascending through approximately FL230 out of Bariloche, the crew initiated an emergency descent to FL100. The flight was then diverted to Neuquen, NE, where it made a safe landing on runway 09, approximately 25 minutes after the climb was halted.
