Air France is returning to Abu Dhabi, after a decade of halted flights due to competition, on October 29, 2023, with a new daily service operated by the Airbus A350-900. Flight AF638 will depart from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport at 21:15 and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 06:45. The return flight will depart from Abu Dhabi at 08:45 and arrive in Paris at 13:15. Air France will introduce four other destinations in the Middle East during the coming winters season. The four other destinations are Cairo, Tel Aviv, Dubai, and Beirut.
Air France's A350-900s are configured with three classes of service: Business, Premium Economy, and Economy. The Business class cabin features lie-flat seats that can be fully reclined to create a bed. The Premium Economy cabin features seats that are wider and more spacious than Economy class seats. The Economy class cabin features seats that have adjustable headrests and footrests.
