Two planes collided on the ground, causing runway closure at Haneda airport

Two planes collided on the ground at Tokyo's Haneda airport on Saturday, June 10, 2023. The collision occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. local time on a taxiway near the airport's runway 16R. The two planes involved were a Thai Airways Airbus A330 (reg. HS-TEO), operating flight No. TG683 to Bangkok and an Eva Airways Airbus A330-300 (reg. B-16340), operating flight No. BR189 to Taipei. The collision occurred when the Thai Airways plane clipped the wings of the Eva Airways plane. The collision caused minor damage to both planes, but there were no injuries reported.
