Another IndiGo A321neo was hit in the tail. The airplane (registered VT-IMW) was on flight #6E6595 from Bengaluru to Ahmedabad when it suffered a tail impact. Only four days ago, another A321neo (registration VT-IMG) experienced an identical situation. The plane is currently being repaired in Delhi. Another A321neo (registration VT-IML) was hit by a tail strike in April 2023.
On January 2023, the Airbus A321neo (reg. VT-ILR) was grounded for a few days at Kolkata Airport due to a tail strike. The concern is real as in October 2022, the same aircraft suffering the incident today (reg. VT-IMW) already experienced a tail strike as it was newly delivered to IndiGo. On 15 February 2023, Air India Airbus A321 (reg. VT-PPU) did a tail strike during take-off while operating flight #AI852.
