Aerolease Signed LOI For Up To 50 Electric Aircraft From Eviation

Aerolease, a Miami-based leasing company focused on sustainable aviation, has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) for up to 50 Eviation Alice aircraft during Paris Airshow. The Alice is a 9-passenger, all-electric commuter aircraft that is expected to enter service in 2024. The LOI with Aerolease is a significant milestone for Eviation. It is the first major order for the Alice and represents a vote of confidence in the company's technology and business plan.

"We are delighted to partner with Aerolease, a leading player in the sustainable aviation market," said Eviation CEO Omer Bar-Yosef. "This LOI is a major step forward for the Alice program and demonstrates the strong demand for our all-electric aircraft." Aerolease CEO Matt Ziemkiewicz said, "The Alice is a game-changer for the regional air travel market. It is the first all-electric aircraft that is capable of meeting the needs of regional airlines and operators. We are excited to be the first leasing company to order the Alice and we believe it will be a major success."

The Alice is powered by a single MagniX electric propulsion system and has a range of 400 nautical miles. It is designed to operate on short-haul routes that are currently underserved by traditional aircraft. The Alice is expected to be certified by the FAA and EASA in 2024. Eviation has already received orders for 100 Alice aircraft from Cape Air, an airline that operates regional flights in the United States.

The LOI with Aerolease is further validation of the Alice program and the growing demand for all-electric aircraft. It is a significant milestone for Eviation and a sign of the company's commitment to developing sustainable aviation solutions. In addition to the environmental benefits of flying an all-electric aircraft, the Alice is also expected to be more efficient and cost-effective than traditional aircraft. This could make it a more attractive option for airlines and operators looking to reduce their operating costs. The Alice is a significant development in the regional air travel market and could revolutionize the way people travel. It is a more sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective option than traditional aircraft and could make regional air travel more accessible to people all over the world.
