Philippine Airlines is close to a deal to order 10 Airbus A350-1000 wide-body jets in the latest sign of a recovery in wide-body jet markets, industry sources said on Tuesday. Both companies declined to comment.
An airline source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said: “We are in talks with aircraft manufacturers to order new long-range aircraft, but not yet in a position to announce any specific type.”
