Cham Wings suspend flights to Minsk

 


The Syrian carrier, Cham Wings, announced on Saturday that the company will suspend all the flights to the Belarus capital, Minsk. 

A statement by the company "Due to the critical conditions on the Belarusian-Polish border, and since the majority of passengers on Cham Wings Airlines flights to Minsk Airport are of Syrian nationality, and it is difficult to distinguish between travelers heading to Belarus as a final destination and immigrant travelers, Cham Wings Airlines decided to suspend Its flights to Minsk Airport from today, Saturday, November 13, 2021.

There are thousands of migrants from the Middle East stuck in the bushes in freezing weather on the borders between Belarus and Poland and Lithuania, members of the European Union, which refuse entry to migrants to their lands.
